In the Men Singles Event, no. 2 seed MA Long beat top seeded XU Xin in five sets of all-Chinese final – 4:1 (13:11, 3:11, 11:1, 11:7, 11:9).

World`s no. 3 LI Xiaoxia upset top favorite DING Ning in five sets of Women Singles 4:1 (11:5, 11:8, 11:4, 8:11, 11:5).

CHIANG Hung-Chieh and HUANG Sheng-Sheng confirmed their no. 1 seeding role, beating in the Men Doubles Event final Chinese pair XU Xin and ZHANG Jike, playing four games.
