Titles for JORGIC and MESHREF in Tarragona

Mediterranean Games 2018

 

At the Mediterranean Games 2018 in Spanish Tarragona Slovenia’s Darko JORGIC and Egypt’s Dina MESHREF clinched gold medals in their respective Men’s and Women’s Singles Event.

 

In the final Darko beat Jesus Cantero JUNCAL of Spain (8:11, 8:11, 11:13, 11:13). In the match for the bronze medal Alexandre ROBINOT was disqualified so the medal went to Ibrahim GUNDUZ of Turkey.

 

In the Women’s Singles final Dina MESHREF beat YANG Xiaoxin of Monaco (4:11, 2:11, 11:13, 11:5, 7:11). In the match for bronye Galia DVORAK of Spain overcame Iyabela LUPULESKU of Serbia (6:11, 7:11, 11:8, 11:7, 11:9, 4:11, 11:7).
