Two top seeds in the ongoing Table Tennis Champions League Men have confirmed their status, playing away first quarter-final games: TTSC UMMC – Borussia Dusseldorf 0:3, Roskilde Bordtennis BTK61 – Fakel Gazprom Orenburg 0:3
Reigning TTCLM champion and top seed Orenburg presented its newly crowned World no. 1 Dimitrij OVTCHAROV who has defeated Roskilde`s Chinese ZHAI Yujia in four games of the opener.
Second clash confronted two former individual continental champions, Michael MAZE from Europe and Jun MIZUTANI from Asia. Japanese easily got the opening set, but Dan responded in the same manner to level the score after second game.
