The leading names retained their positions at he Men’s September European Rankings issued yesterday. Germany’s Dimitrij OVTCHAROV is still no. one, followed by Timo BOLL of Germany, Vladimir SAMSONOV of Belarus, Marcos FREITAS of Portugal. The only change in top 10 is at position no. seven; Portugal’s Tiago APOLONIA moved one place up, whilst Panagiotis GIONIS of Greece went one position down.

Germany’s HAN Ying is at the top of the Women’s Rankings, LIU Jia of Austria is second. Elizabeta SAMARA of Romania progressed from position no. 8 to third place. WU JIaduo of Germany moved from spot no. 16 to spot no. 9.

At the top position in Men’s U21 Rankings is Liam PICHFORD of England, followed by Simon GAUZY of France. Sofia POLCANOVA of Austria, Petrissa SOLJA of Germany and Bernadette SZOCS of Romania are the top trio in Women’s U21 rankings.

Can AKKUZU of France is again at the top of Junior Boys Rankings, whilst David REITSPIES of Czech Republic went one place below. Nina MITTELHAM of Germany is best ranked junior girl, Chantal MANTZ of Germany is second and Lea RAKOVAC of Croatia is third.

In Cadet boy’s list Cristian PLETEA of Romania is first; his compatriot Rares SIPOS is second and Nolan GIVONE of France is third.

Adina DIACONU is at the top of Cadet Rankings, Lisa LUNG of Belgium is placed at position no. two and Maria TAYLAKOVA of Russia is third.
