Without RINIOTIS (“only”30) a team played the EC team final had an average age of 36 years (KREANGA 41, PAPAGEORGIU 34, GIONIS 33). They were the oldest team in an EC-final ever.
The German team is only 24,4 years, STEGER (32) being the oldest, DUDA (18) the youngest.
The age in the women’s final is less spectacular. Romania has an average of 23,0 years, Germany 28,6. The oldest finalist in this final was WU Jiaduo (36), the youngest is SZOCS (18).
