Andrea PUPPO took the lead in Under 19 event in Tours

On the second day of the play at the Europe Top 10 in Tours there is the change at the top of the standings in the Under 19 Boys Event. Iulian CHIRITA suffered by the hands of Andrea PUPPO of Italy for a first time in six rounds and he was forced to give his leading position to the winner of the match. In Under 19 Girls Event Elena ZAHARIA of Romania and Hana ARAPOVIC of Croatia still holds the top.

In Under 19 Boys Hugo DESCHAMPS of France is at the position no. 3. With 10 points. Also with 10 points are Andrei ISTRATE of Romania and David SZANTOSI of Hungary.

We are heading great showdown in Under 19 girls Event. Elena ZAHARIA of Romania and Hana ARAPOVIC of Croatia are still unbeaten after six rounds. They will meet each other tomorrow in the last rounds. Today, Ioana SINGEORZAN also won all her three matches to remain at the position no. three.

Favorites were mainly in the fast track today, but there were few close duels. Hana needed seven games to overcame Mia GRISEL of Germany. In addition, Romania’s Luciana MITROFAN was forced Lucie MOBARAK to go full distance before French player prevailed. Sara DEVOS of Belgium and Anna BRZYSKA of Poland played full seven games and the match ended in favor of Sara.

There is no change at the top of the standings in the Under 15 Boys Event. Flavien COTON of France is still at the top, but unlike yesterday, he lost one match today. Poland’s Zofia SLIWKA recorded her first victory in Tours against MEI ROSU, whilst Leana HOCHART of France beat NEUMANN to clinch the top spot at the standings. Three rounds before the end, Germany’s players is second, whilst Bianca is third.
