In the opening stage of the European Championships in Men’s Event, Austria overcome Croatia in straight matches. In Group A4, that is the last match for Croatia, whilst Austria and Spain will play the ultimate round on Wednesday 29th March.

Even before tonight’s match Croatia already qualified for the Final stage of the European Championships in Malmo with three wins in the Group A4. Their defeat against Austria could not change anything. Austria won two matches in three rounds and now is in better position than Spain who has three defeats.

"It's a great relief that we were able to qualify for the European Championship early. However, I didn't play well today. I need to do more mental training, sometimes the focus was gone. Of course, we had the great advantage that Croatia arrived without the No. 1 and No. 2” said LEVENKO.
