The English Table Tennis Association Ltd (ETTA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sara SUTCLIFFE in the post of Interim Chief Executive Officer from 15h July 2013.

Sara comes to the ETTA with an excellent background and extensive experience primarily within the sports industry including most recently the British Olympic Association where she was Director of Legal and HR for almost 12 years.

Sara SUTCLIFFE said: “I am delighted to be joining the ETTA at such an exciting time. I look forward to working with the new chairman and his team, the board and all the staff at the ETTA to help lead the organisation through a period of sustained and continuous improvement so that we can grow the number of people enjoying table tennis at every level. “  She will be a great asset to the ETTA and will work with the new board, staff and volunteers on the implementation of the recently completed Strategic and Staffing review to meet the Sport England requirement of new Budgets and Costed Delivery Plans for 2014 to 2017.

The current chairman of the ETTA, Alex MURDOCH said: “During the selection and interview process involving incoming chairman Andy SEWARD, Sport England and myself, Sara was the outstanding candidate and I wish her and table tennis every success now and in the future under the new board.
