Borussia over against mission impossible

It’s strange to see great Borussia Düsseldorf in a losing streak, so main question that is appearing now is: how the team will react in upcoming games. After 3:1 away loss in 1st semi final leg of Men’s European Champions League at Chartres, Düsseldorf’s ,

Now these two clubs are sharing top spot with 9-3 (31-18) score. Borussia was focused on all four possible titles this season and after two finished competition it already reached one title (national cup, totally its 60th trophy). The chances in Bundesliga are always high, but that is not case with Men’s ECL expecting semi final rematch on March 22nd.

Singaporean GAO Ning pushed Borussia in very hard situation, beating Patrick BAUM and Timo BOLL (twice 3:0), so manager of Düsseldorf’s side Andreas PREUSS ties to sounds realistic: “We are practically eliminated. I give us maybe 5 % of chance. With a 5:11 set ratio, Borussia needs in the return leg actually a 3:0 victory to reach the final. I do not see that at the moment. We had some problems with extremely high humidity and totally contrary conditions, but that can not be an excuse”.

After clash at Chartres the team traveled to Biberach where lost by Ochsenhausen 3:2. Patrick BAUM took two points, defeating Kirill SKACHKOV 3:1 and RYU Seung Min 3:2, whilst young Ricardo WALTHER lost two and Christian SUSS one match (from Liam PTCHFORD 3:0). Next game to be held on March 17th, against TTC Frickenhausen which arives with Japanese champion Koki NIWA, Slovakian defender with Chinese roots YANG Wang and newly-crowned individual champion of Germany, Steffen MENGEL who beat Timo BOLL in seven games of the final.
