European Table Tennis Union President’s seasons greetings

Looking forward Christmas Holidays and the end of another very busy but successful year for table tennis the European Table Tennis Union would like to extend the warmest wishes and Season’s Greetings to the World Table Tennis family. It has been an

It has been an impressive year in terms of quality and number of events played all around Europe over the past 12 months. ETTU also invested lot of resources in development despite the worldwide financial crisis didn’t allow the best expected financial turnover.

The strategy we adopted since last five years was showing impressive feedbacks and most of our National Associations worked better and better to improve their athletes’ technical skills. The gap between Asia and Europe still remains but we all together are doing best efforts to get closer and the fruitful cooperation with Asian and Chinese Table Tennis Associations surely gave us a strong upgrade.

During 2010 ETTU also strengthened its professional staff achieving very important agreements with new prestigious partners such as The Sportsman Media Group for web TV (on Laola1.tv) and Triumph Media Group for marketing and TV rights. Working all together in close cooperation we feel ready to improve again.

On behalf of ETTU Executive Board and all the members of European TT Community wish to all of you and your families a joyful and exciting 2011!
