In the Stage 3 of the Europe Cup Men USD Apuania Carrara Tennistavolo and Solex-Consult Wiener Neustadt recorded opening leg wins.

Spanish ASISA Borges Vall lost to USD Apuania Carrara Tennistavolo opening leg of the Stage 3 in straight matches. Mihai Razvan BOBOCICA overcame Viktor BROD in long distance thriller (7:11 11:5 9:11 11:6 6:6) to set the course of the match. Lubomir PISTEJ prevailed against Marc DURAN (11:7 11:9 11:8) and Andrea PUPPO beat Joan MASIP (11:9 11:9 11:8). Second leg will be played on Sunday.

Solex-Consult Wiener Neustadt overcame Neu-Ulm Team Euro in Austria. Felix WETZEL beat Vladimir SIDORENKO (11:9 11:7 10:12 11:9) and Maksim GREBNEV (11:8 11:7 8:11 14:12). Maksim GREBNEV gained the only point for Germany’s club. He overcame Ivor BAN (11:2 11:6 10:12 11:4). Frane Tomislav KOJIC prevailed against Lev KATSMAN 11:5 11:9 12:10).

Second leg is scheduled for tomorrow.
