Pavel ŠIRUČEK awaits old club mates from Dartom Grodzisk Mazowiecki

After they met mighty Borussia Düsseldorf in Germany last week HB Ostrov Havlíčkův Brod will host KS Dartom Bogoria Grodzisk Mazowiecki in Czech Republic tomorrow. In the opening match of the Champions League Men Second Stage Group A Borussia Düsseldorf recorded 3:1 victory.

“We played a very good match in Düsseldorf where we managed to get one point. Of course nobody wants to lose but I was satisfied with the performance of the players. Now we have a match for second place in the group. We will be ready in the strongest lineup Tomáš TREGLER Pavel ŠIRUČEK Michal OBEŠLO and Tomáš MARTINKO. And 400 of our fans in the hall ” promised HB Ostrov’s Manager Miroslav JINEK.

For sure Pavel ŠIRUČEK is well aware what they can expect in the second round duel. Pavel won three titles in 2014 2015 and 2016 in Czech League with HB Ostrov before he moved to Poland. With Bogoria Grodzisk Mazowiecki he won the title in 2019 and 2022. Last season the club was third in the Europe Cup.

“The Polish club could be very dangerous. They have very good players but I think we have a chance to win. It will be very important for Pavel ŠIRUČEK because he had play in Grodzisk Mazowiecki for several years. However he is not nervous at all and is looking forward to the match like the rest of us ” stated JINEK.
