Silver for Poland and France at the 2022 ITTF World Youth Table Tennis Championships

Poland and France clinched silver medals in their respective Under 19 Boys and Girls Team’s Events at the 2022 ITTF World Youth Table Tennis Championships. In both finals in Tunisia China emerged successfully.

China clinched gold in the Under 19 Boys Event after they prevailed against Poland. Maciej KUBIK was the only to score for the losing side. He beat LIN Shidong 3:0 (11:7 11:2 9:11 11:8). Milosz REDZIMSKI lost to CHEN Yuanyu (6:11 7:11 11:6 3:11) Mateusz ZALEWSKI to ZENG Beixun (6:11 8:11 6:11) and in the last match Maciej KUBIK stretched to full distance CHEN Yuanyu before he lost (8:11 11:5 10:12 11:2 8:11).

Poland beat Australia and Chinese Taipei on their way to the final. France and Chinese Taipei won bronze.

In the Under 19 Girls Team’s Event China prevailed in straight matches against France. PAVADE Prithika lost to CHEN Yi (8:11 9:11 12:10 8:11) Charlotte LUTZ to KUAI Man (6:11 5:11 8:11) and Agathe AVEZOU to HAN Feier (8:11 4:11 4:11).

On their way to the final France overcame Romania India and Tunisia. Romania and Japan clinched bronze.

In Under 15 Boys event in the final China beat Australia. Bronze medalists are France and Japan. Winners of the Under 15 Girls Event is China. Silver went to Japan and Romania and Korea won bronze.
