ETTU announces end to Champions League men 2021/222 season

In relation to unplayed matches of 2021/2022 Champions League man The ETTU Executive Board today confirmed that the ETTU Champions League men 2021/2022 season has been ended and that the semi-finals and finals will not be played in order to protect the players and participants and the integrity of the competition.

The decision was taken following consultation with all the clubs involved in the semi-finals and finals also Sportradar Group the exclusive media and marketing rights owner for this competition and while trying to comply with the ETTU Board of Appeal previous decisions on this matter. It was agreed it would not be possible for the remaining matches to be played safely and fairly. There will therefore be no winner of the 2021/2022 season.
