Metz TT and SKST PLUS Hodonin last two clubs to secure quarterfinal

Metz TT clinched the top position in Group B in the Stage two of the 2021/2022 TAMANNEFTEGAS European Champions League Women and progressed to the quarterfinals. Host club recorded all three victories in three days of play in France. At the second position is SKST PLUS Hodonin.

Those two clubs joined best two clubs from Group A ttc Berlin eastside and CP Lyssois Lille Métropole as well as the winners and runner ups from Group D KTS Tarnobrzeg and Linz AG Froschberg. Also Metz made total of three French clubs among top 8 by joining ETIVAL Clairefontaine ASRTT and TT Saint Quentin who progressed to the next stage day earlier.  

In the opening match of the day SKST PLUS Hodonin overcame Girbau-Vic TT. Sofia-Xuan ZHANG was the only player to score. She beat Natalia PARTYKA. In Hododnin Sakura MORI and Tetyana BILENKO showed no mercy. They concluded their matches in straight games.

METZ concluded the tournament victoriously. Hosts overcame Novi Sad in straight matches.
