Borussia Dusseldorf and Sporting Clube De Portugal in the quarters

Table Tennis European Champions League Men reigning champions Borussia Dusseldorf progressed to the quarterfinal after recording all three wins in ARAG CenterCourt. They did it in impressive style without losing any individual match. Sporting Clube De Portugal will also play among top 8 clubs. In the Group A Asisa Borges Vall and SPG Felbermayr Wels same as Sporting have only one win but better ratio worked in favor of Portugal’s club.

In the last match of the tournament freshly recovered Kristian KARLSSON got his chance to enter the game. After Anton KALLBERG beat Jiri MARTINKO and Timo BOLL overcame Nandor ECSEKI KARLSSON just followed their path and accounted for Andreas LEVENKO.

Sporting Clube De Portugal beat Asisa Borges Vall to secure the quarterfinal in dramatic of the tournament. Portugal’s club failed to post the victory in two previous days but at the end last day’s victory launched them to the next phase of the Champions League. Beside the winners of the Group all three clubs recorded only one win. The ratio pushed Sporting Clube De Portugal to the knock out stage whilst Asisa Borges Vall will continue in Europe Cup after finished third.
