Simon GAUZI wins his second title Carole GRUNDISCH improves her record to five

French National Championships

 

The 90th edition of the French National Championships was concluded by victories of Simon GAUZY and Carole GRUNDISCH who won their 2nd and 5th crowns respectively.

 

Simon GAUZY beat Quentin RIBINOT in the Men’s Singles final 4:1 (11:4 11:8 7:11 11:3 11:7). The semi-final saw one of the most exciting clashes at the tournament when ROBINOT overcame Bastien REMBERT after full seven games.

 

Main candidate for the Women’s Singles gold Carole GRUNDISCH has justified her status as she defeated Oceane GUISNEL in straight games to secure top spot on the podium.
