HAN Ying concludes group stage unbeaten

2019/20 ECLW Round 5

 

Both KTS Enea Siarka Tarnobrzeg and its leading player HAN Ying will enter the quarter-finals unbeaten after Round 5 match they won against SH-ITB Budaörsi 2i SC 3:1. Polish champion concluded group stage with a perfect win-loss record of 4-0 while German player has 6-0. Moreover HAN lost just one game in total playing six matches.

 

This time strong defender beat Maria FAZEKAS and Szabina SURJAN both in straight games. American player WU Yue overcame Mercedesz NAGYVARADI while Serbian rising star 17-year-old SURJAN upset former individual European champion Elizabeta SAMARA after full five games.

 

In the Round 6 December 6th Hungarian side faces Metz TT to decide who will be the second quarter-finalist from Group C.
