FU Yu targets one more podium

LIEBHERR 2018 ITTF European Championships in Alicante Spain (18-23 Sep 2018)

 

In 2013 in Schwechat – bronze in 2015 in Yekaterinburg – bronze in 2016 in Budapest – silver! What could be the next achievement for Portugal`s best player FU Yu who is preparing for the LIEBHERR 2018 ITTF European Championships in Alicante Spain (18-23 Sep 2018)…

 

“My goal in this European Championships and always is do the best I can try to get the medal once again. In the last three European I went to the podium” stated FU Yu actual World no. 32.

 

FU Yu current ECLW champion with Croatian Dr. Casl believes that there is no clear favorite for the crown. On that matter she responded:

 

“How many candidates will be for the win will depend very much of that moment. Any Chinese naturalized player can win and we must always count on SAMARA SZOCZ who is going through a good time of way”.

 

Speaking about younger players and possible upsets she emphasized Romani`s Bernadette SZOCS as 2018 ITTF Europe Top-16 Cup winner. Regarding the time she is going to spend until the 2018 European Championships FU Yu stated:

 

“I have been walking in the gym and training where I live with my husband and coach now I go to the High Performance Training center in Porto to train with colleagues of national team”.
