Seamaster ECLW Round 4: Linz opens new era in presenting table tennis

“This game will start a new era because the event technically will be TOP” stressed Linz`s President Günther RENNER speaking about game against Bursa this Sunday November 26th

Seamester European Champions League Women Round 4 will be held this Friday (Nov 24) and Sunday (Nov 26) confronting double ECLW champion and 2016/17 ETTU Women Cup winner in the Group B: Linz AG Froschberg – Bursa Büyükşehir Belediyespor (Nov 26 16:00 CET). Other three encounters are scheduled for Friday: TuS Bad Driburg – KTS Tarnobrzeg (Group A) ALCL TT Grand-Quevilly – Dr. CASL (Group C) and SKST Mart Hodonin – Stavoimpex – TTC Berlin Eastside (Group D).

Linz was beaten by Bursa 3:2 in the opening round but now has a chance to take control in the Group B. President of Austrian club Günther RENNER emphasized how Round 3 victory was important for his side.

“Before the game we are thrilled already motivated to prepare in the best way and work together on the strategy for the game. It will be a game with two teams at the same level but we don’t see us as favorites. This year is already quite successful with the 3:0 win against Cartagena. The schedule was very full this autumn but we tried to combine individual practice with group practice”.

RENNER announces that the upcoming match will provide new strategy in presentation of table tennis.

“But this game will start a new era as well because the event technically will be TOP with show stage lighting better sound a next generation live streaming software with automatic summary and chance for highlights selection through – point by point recording there are cameras from TV channels to get a summary at a regional TV channel the Austrian broadcasting Channel ORF ORF OÖ ORF SPORT PLUS and between 2 SKI events there will be a summary on ORF 1 Sport Bild (normal range of TV spectators in this show from 800.000 K -1 Mio viewers only in Austria) and a highlighted LIVESTREAM at the most important upper Austrian newspaper www.nachrichten.at and at ettu.tv of course. We think this is the way it has to be done and that’s why we make the next step in presenting our loved sport.”

2017/18 Seamaster ECLW top seed Tarnobrzeg travels to Germany to face TuS Bad Driburg. HAN Ying Elizabeta SAMARA and LI Qian had no mercy in the opening round beating their opponents in straight games. Czech Republic`s SKST Mart Hodonin-Stavoimpex hosts reigning champion and no. 2 seed Berlin in the Group D while Dr. CASL departures to France to meet ALCL TT Grand-Quevilly in the Group C meeting.
