First win for Cartagena

Spanish club beat Szekszard 3:1 at home in the Round 3 of ECLW

 

Spanish club UCAM Cartagena beat Hungarian Szekszard 3:1 in the Round 3 of ECLW thus all three teams in the Group B (third one is STROCK) now have 1-1 score. The same outcome was seen yesterday in Group D while other two groups have one unbeaten side each Berlin Eastside (Group A) and Metz TT (Group C).

 

SHEN Yanfei was player of the game in today`s clash bringing two points to Cartagena. First she defeated the 2013 individual European champion LI Fen in straight games – 3:0 (11:8 11:7 11:8) repeating almost same score in the fourth encounter against YU Yang – 3:0 (11:8 11:8 11:8).

 

YU leveled the score in the second game though WANG Zhipei started with a set in her favor. Former single gold medalist at European Championships Ruta PASKAUSKIENE has overcome Petra LOVAS in the meeting of two no. 3 players.
