SGOUROPOULOS and TOLIOU continue dominance in Greece

Ioannis SGOUROPOULOS and Katerina TOLIOU claimed the singles titles at the Greek National Championships in Athens.

Both players reaffirmed their dominance on the national stage, extending impressive winning streaks. SGOUROPOULOS secured his fifth consecutive men’s singles title, defeating Konstantinos KONSTANTINOPOULOS in the final (4-2). On his way to the title, he once again demonstrated his consistency at the highest level.

In the women’s singles, TOLIOU successfully defended her crown, capturing her sixth national title. She defeated her Panathinaikos teammate Ioanna GERASIMATOU in the final (4-1), confirming her long-standing position at the top of Greek table tennis.

The championships, held at the Peace and Friendship Stadium, delivered high-quality action across all events, with strong performances also in doubles competitions. Giorgos KONSTANTINOPOULOS was among the standout players, winning both men’s doubles and mixed doubles titles.
