KS DARTOM BOGORIA Grodzisk Mazowiecki Becomes First Team to Secure Final 4 Spot

KS DARTOM BOGORIA Grodzisk Mazowiecki has become the first club to secure a place in the upcoming Final 4 of the Champions League Men. In the quarterfinals, the Polish team dominated Solex Consult TTC Wiener Neustadt from Austria, claiming straight-match victories (3-0) in both legs.

Despite what the final scoreline suggests, last year’s semifinalists from Austria put up a strong fight, especially in the first leg, where two matches went the full distance.

“Despite the fast-paced match, the result didn’t reflect the intensity of the game. My match was definitely the closest, but I managed to stay focused in the final moments and win. I’m glad that as a team, everyone contributed their part, and today we can celebrate this historic advancement to the Final Four,” said Milosz REDZIMSKI.

Panagiotis GIONIS remains unbeaten in the quarterfinals

“In the end, we played very well and were thoroughly prepared. Austria’s team was missing ABBASI, which was good news for us, but KOJIC and BAN are still very strong players. However, REDZIMSKI started very well and gave us good momentum. I played against Ivor for the first time, and I wasn’t sure how well he would handle defense. Tonight, he struggled to find the right solutions. After we went up 2-0, we were already qualified, but Marek still left nothing to chance. For the first time, the club has reached the semifinals, and that makes us very happy,” said Panagiotis GIONIS.

The Final 4 will be played in Saarbrücken on May 31 and June 1, 2025.
