MLADENOVIC and DE NUTTE confirm dominance at Foyer National Championships

Luka MLADENOVIC and Sarah DE NUTTE claimed the singles titles at the Luxembourg National Championships.

The 2026 edition of the Foyer National Championships saw the favourites live up to expectations, with the top seeds dominating the singles events.

In the men’s singles, MLADENOVIC secured his third national title, finishing ahead of Maël VAN DESSEL in the final. The podium was completed by Aaron SAHR and Eric GLOD, reflecting a strong showing from the top-seeded players.

In the women’s singles, DE NUTTE continued her remarkable run, claiming her 12th national title after defeating Enisa SADIKOVIC in the final. SADIKOVIC had earlier progressed through a notable semifinal clash against her sister Melisa. Jona SCHROEDER and Melisa SADIKOVIC secured bronze medals.

In doubles events, the young pairing of Gene WANTZ and Maël VAN DESSEL triumphed in men’s doubles, while Tessy GONDERINGER marked her return by winning the women’s doubles title alongside DE NUTTE. The mixed doubles title went to Enisa SADIKOVIC and Gene WANTZ, who defeated the experienced duo of DE NUTTE and Gilles MICHELY in the final, marking the latter’s final appearance at the national championships.
