Lithuanian TTA President NAVICKIENĖ has been appointed as Vice President of the NOC

The Lithuanian National Olympic Committee (NOC) General Assembly election session, held on October 11 in Vilnius, brought significant advancements for Lithuanian sports, particularly for the table tennis community.

Lithuanian Table Tennis Association President Inga NAVICKIENĖ has been appointed as Vice President of the NOC. NAVICKIENĖ’s candidacy was confirmed by a majority vote, marking a notable achievement for Lithuanian table tennis and reaffirming her strong leadership and influence within the national sports community.

In addition to NAVICKIENĖ’s appointment, Olympic champion and International Olympic Committee member Daina GUDZINEVIČIŪTĖ was re-elected as NOC President for an unprecedented fourth term, covering the 2024-2028 Olympic cycle. GUDZINEVIČIŪTĖ’s continued leadership is expected to further strengthen Lithuania’s commitment to sports excellence across all disciplines.

The Lithuanian Table Tennis Association celebrates NAVICKIENĖ’s new role and recognizes this moment as a milestone for table tennis, reflecting growing support and respect for our sport within the Olympic movement.
