Latvian National Closed Championships: The Battle for National Titles

The Latvian National Closed Table Tennis Championships will take place on March 22–23 at the Sport Hall of O. Kalpaks Riga Folk-Art Primary School, Skrindu Street 1, Riga. The tournament will feature competitions in men’s and women’s singles, with some of the country’s top players vying for the national titles.

Schedule and Venue

The competition begins on March 22 at 12:00, while matches on March 23 start at 10:30. The women’s singles final is scheduled for 13:15, followed by the men’s singles final at 14:00.

Defending Champions and Contenders

Last year’s national champions, Arturs REINHOLDS in the men’s category and Sabina MUSAJEVA in the women’s, will return to defend their titles against strong competition.

  • Olegs KARTUZOVS – 2023 finalist and 2022 champion
  • Daniels KOGANS – 2023 bronze medalist and 2022 champion

  • Natalija KLIMANOVA – 5-time singles champion
  • Baiba BOGDANOVA – 2023 champion
