ETTU JOB OPENINGS: MARKETING ASSISTANT (30H/WEEK)

Position Overview:

ETTU is looking for a Marketing Assistant to ensure that all marketing activities, particularly at events, are implemented correctly and in line with established plans and guidelines. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple operational tasks, making it essential for maintaining the smooth day-to-day running of marketing and event- related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Marketing:

  • Ensure proper implementation of marketing plans during ETTU events, including sponsor activations, branding (e.g., floor stickers, LEDs, logos at events), and promotional activities.
  • Create and update sponsorship proposals and partnership decks tailored to potential and existing partners.
  • Coordinate with Local Organisers teams to ensure compliance with ETTU’s event guidelines and protocols.
  • Manage event branding to ensure alignment with ETTU’s sponsorship agreements.
  • Lead sponsorship activations and ensure sponsor care and relations.

Administrative Support:

  • Manage and track schedules, timelines, and deliverables for marketing and event-related tasks.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining documentation, reports, and presentations and support in organizing meetings, travel plans, preparing agendas, and following up on action items related to marketing and event operations.
  • Handle communication with sponsors, suppliers, and event organizers as needed.
  • Prepare and implement marketing plans that align with strategic goals and monitor the execution of marketing activities to ensure alignment with ETTU’s guidelines.
  • Assist in managing supplier relationships and contracts for marketing materials and services.
  • Work closely with upper level management and across teams to ensure the smooth execution of all marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of table tennis or experience in sports events is a plus. Basic Graphic Design Skills (e.g., Adobe, Canva).
