Neven CEGNAR next star coach in the team of WSA

There is the “next big thing” for the Werner SCHLAGER Academy (WSA) in Wien-Schwechat. Neven CEGNAR, who has been Croatian national team coach for 23 years and mainly responsible for the success story of the former world no. 2 and bronze medallist Tamara

There is the “next big thing” for the Werner SCHLAGER Academy (WSA) in Wien-Schwechat. Neven CEGNAR, who has been Croatian national team coach for 23 years and mainly responsible for the success story of the former world no. 2 and bronze medallist Tamara BOROS, will reinforce the WSA coach team in July 2015.

CEGNAR has won 32 medals with his players at World Championships and European Championships and is therefore known as one of the most successful coaches of all time.

Joining the WSA team he opens a new chapter in his extraordinary career and he will work again together with Tamara BOROS who is also WSA coach since 2012.

Neven CEGNAR who works in parallel as ETTU Development Manager has at last been responsible for the rapid advancements of the 17-year-old Lea RAKOVAC who lives in Schwechat since August 2014 and plays for the Austrian team champion SVNÖ STRÖCK. In the meantime RAKOVAC has become the indisputable no. 1 at the European Youth level.
