Success for France, Germany, Russia and Serbia in Vrnjacka Banja

At the 2013 Serbian Junior and Cadet Open in Vrnjacka Banja France, Germany, Russia and Serbia secured gold in four team’s events concluded yesterday in famous Serbia’s spa.

France beat Russia in the final of the Junior Boys Teams Event 3:1. Paul GAUZY, Joe SEYFRIED and Nolan GIVONE succeeded against Sadi ISMAILOV, Maksim KISELEV AND Nikita YARUSHIN. In the semi final France beat Belgium, whilst Russia overcame Hungary.

In Junior Girls Teams Event Germany’s Chantal MANTZ, WAN Yuan and Julia KAIM overcame Israel’s Sheli GELMAN, Nikole TROSMAN and Neli SHOIFER in straight matches in the final. In semis Germany beat Russia and Israel overcame Romania.

Russia clinched the gold in the Cadet Boys Teams Event. Iliya ISAKOV, Aleksandr TYUTRYUMOV beat Greece’s Efstratios DAMIANIS and Ioannis SGOUROPOULOS. France lost their semi final encounter against Russia, whilst Greece overcame Slovakia.

Serbian cadet girls finally gave home crowd reason for joy. Serbia’s Izabela LUPULESKU, Sabina SURJAN overcame Russia’s Anastasia KOLISH and Maria TAYLAKOVA. In semi final Serbia overcame combined team of Belarus/ Serbia, whilst Russia overcame Bulgaria.
