In the final Austria’s pairings had a very poor start, by losing the opening game by 11:6. In next one in very close game, TAN and WANG prevailed by narrow margin. “We never played before together at the tournaments, but we know each other well and we had practice together in Croatia,” said WANG yeng Yi.
In the penultimate stage Robert GARDOS and Daniel HABESOHN beat HE ZHI Wen and Carlos MACHADO of Spain. TAN Riuwu and WANG Zeng Yi proved too strong for Portugal’s pairings Tiago APOLONIA and Joao MONTEIRO.
