The Swedish team will come to Braunschweig for JOOLA European Team’s Championships Qualifications on Saturday without Jörgen PERSSON. The well-known 46 year-old player who prepares for his seventh Olympic Games is injured.
“The burst in the calf muscle was much serious than we thought from the beginning”, said the Swedish coach Ulf ”Tickan” CARLSSON after the Roentgen on Tuesday.

PERSSON did the Olympic Games test before his second match in Schwechat, Austria last Friday. The four days after this tournament, with players from ten countries, he worked in lower pace. And he must do it the rest of this week too.

PERSSON shall be in Rotenberg in Germany between 16th to 21th of July for the last stage of the preparations.
“I hope that he will play on his highest level from Monday“, says Ulf ”Tickan” CARLSSON.

Harald ANDERSSON get the chance after PERSSONS’ withdrawal and he will play together with Jens LUNDQUIST and Pär GERELL against Germany in the JOOLA European Team’s Championships Qualifications .
