Wins for Hungary, Slovakia and Serbia in Women’s Event

The last matches in the opening stage of the European Championships brought the resolution in fights for second position in Groups A1, A3 and A4 in Women’s Teams Event.

Hungary beat Türkiye in straight matches to secure their second position and pass to the Final stage in Malmo. In the Group A, Romania already booked their ticket to Sweden with four wins out of four matches. Türkiye beat Hungary at home soil 3:1, but tonight they lost 1:3, so Hungary moved further directly.

Slovakia was in express line against Netherlands. They prevailed in straight matches to win the second place in Group A3. France is unbeaten with four wins, whilst Slovakia has both wind over Netherlands.

In Group A4 Serbia moved to the final stage of the Championships after superb win over Luxembourg. Hosts already secured the Final in Malmo, so they were without NI Xia Lian. Ariel BARBOSA got her chance tonight. Austria is only third in the group with only one win over Serbia.
