ETTU Executive Board meeting on February 13, 2021

On Saturday, February 13, a regular meeting of the ETTU Executive Committee was held under the leadership of President Igor LEVITIN.

Deputy President Pedro MOURA reported two meetings with the ITTF working group. Most of the disagreements were resolved constructively, but the world ranking remains a subject for further discussion.

The President reported on ongoing negotiations with new sponsors and various ongoing partnership program negotiations.

The Executive Board approved that the Top 10 Europe Youth Tournaments will be held in Tours, France in 2021 and 2022, and the 2023 European Veterans Championship will be held in Sandefjord, Norway.

The ETTU calendar of events and competitions for 2021 was reviewed, and particular attention was paid to the European Olympic singles qualification, which was moved to April.

The President invited Executive Board members to consider a number of new prizes, such as Player of the Year, Coach of the Year and Hope of the Year.

New ETTU Marketing Manager Beatrice ROMANESCU presented a draft plan to rebrand ETTU, increase awareness, identity, production and distribution of content.
