The draw for the third phase of the Europe Cup
Men's and Women's Europe Cup
The draw for the third phase of the Europe Cup was held today after weekend packed with action all over Europe. Group winners and clubs finished at position no. two in their respective Groups joined top 8 seeds in next, knock out phase.
In Men’s Europe Cup, top seeded Austria’s Solex-Consult Wiener Neustadt will meet group’s runner up STK Libertas Marinkolor from Croatia. No. two seed BeneluxGroup Taverzo from Netherlands will play against TTC Neuhausen from Switzerland, further Clube Desportivo Sao Roque from Portugal will play against Romania’s CSS-SZAK Odorheiu Secuiesc. SF SKK El Nino Praha from Czech Republic will play against Belgium’s TT Vedrinamur, Spanish Arteal TM will play against Belgium’s TTC Sokah Hoboken, SK Vydrany from Slovakia will meet Fortune Kyiv from Ukraine. Spanish Real Club Cajasur Priego Knolive TM will play against Hungary’s PTE PEAC Kalo-Meh and TTSC UMMC-ELEM will meet Spain’s Borges Grup Vall.
Top seeds in Women’s Europe Cup ASKÖ LZ Linz Froschberg will host TT Vedrinamur from Belgium; no. two seeds ASSSA Alicante Tenis de Mesa from Spain will meet DT Nidderkäerjeng from Luxembourg. In remaining six matches we will see duels: ALCL TT Grand-Quevilly from France vs. ACS Dumbravita from Romania, TT Moravsky Krumlov from Czech Republic vs. DT Roodt-Syre from Luxembourg, TTC Novi Sad from Serbia vs. Spanish Tecnigen Linares, GDCS Do Juncal from Porugal vs CTT Tiege from Belgium, Russia’s TMK-TAGMET Taganrog vs. another Russia’s team TTC Kazan and Kocasinan Belediyesi Spor Club from Turkey against ASD Quattro Mori Cagliari from Italy.
The matches will be played in the weekend from 1st to 3rd November and in the first match the higher ranked clubs are hosts. The second leg is scheduled week later.
