Vladimir SAMSONOV reached the semi final of the Men’s Singles Event at the Seamaster 2019 ITTF Challenge Plus Portugal Open. Belarusian suffered by the hands of the Chinese top seed LIN Gaoyuan in a spectacular affair. Despite holding a lead by the close of game three Vladi couldn’t quite find the finishing touch as LIN Gaoyuan took his game up another notch, sealing the win by a 4-2 margin (11-7, 11-13, 8-11, 11-9, 11-8, 11-7).
