Sporting Clube De Portugal and Vaillante Sports Angers have recorded their first victories in the ongoing TTCLM season, as they beat TTC Ostrava 2016 and Roskilde Bordtennis BTK61 respectively. Last year`s semi-finalist, Sporting secured its first win in Group A after five matches, while Angers needed one match less.

The fact that Joao MONTEIRO is absent due to injury, was message for his team-mates to give hundred percent each. And Quadri ARUNA, Diogo CARVALHO and Bode ABIODUN showed good team work against Czech team, as each of them contributed with one point. Diogo CARVALHO overcame Felipe OLIVARES in the decisive fifth encounter. Tomas TREGLER won both Ostrava`s matches.

Jon PERSSON was man of the clash held in Angers, where host side beat Rosklide 3:1. PERSSON has defeated both, Michael MAZE and ZHAI Yujia, while his compatriot Jens LUNDQVIST added one against Tamas LAKATOS, in the clash which predicted the final outcome.
