Romania and Russia will have hard task in Cluj - Napoca
STAG European Youth Championships
The draw for the Teams Events at the 2018 STAG European Youth Championships was held today in Bucurest. The Championships will be played in Cluj - Napoca from 15th to 24th July.
In Junior Boys Teams Event Romania topping the Group A. They will play against Poland, Slovakia and Turkey. France is in the Group with Greece, Belgium and Croatia in Group B. Last year’s runners up in Guimaraes, Russia, are at the top of Group C alsongside last years gold medalists Germany and Hungary and Czech Republic. In Group D are Italy, Sweden, Spain and Slovenia.
In Junior Girls Teams Event titleholders Russia is in Group A with Czech Republic, Azerbaijan and Norway. Serbia, bronze medal winners from last year, is at the top of Group B with Croatia, Slovakia and Turkey. In Group C are Belarus, Poland, Slovenia and Belgium. Romania, silver medalists from Portugal are with France, Germany and Spain in Group D.
Runners up from Guimaraes, France are the top seed in in Group A in Cadet Boys Teams Event. They will face Germany, Hungary and Portugal. In Group B are Belgium, Slovakia, Sweden and Switzerland. In Group C are Croatia, Poland, Ukraine and Greece. Czech Republic is at the top of the Group D with title holders Russia and Italy and Ireland.
In Cadet Girls Teams Event Russia will try to defend their title from the top of the Group A. They are with Czech Republic, Hungary and Bulgaria. In Group B are hosts Romania, Moldova, Belgium and Italy. In Group C are Lithuania, Germany, Ukraine, and Turkey. In Group D are France, silver medalists from last year, Serbia, Belarus and Slovakia.
