ETTU President Ronald KRAMER invites European Associations representatives to attend the ITTF & ETTU Table Tennis FOR ALL FOR LIFE FORUM. The Forum will be held on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd July during the STAG 2018 European Youth Championships in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
Representatives of all European National Associations are invited to participate in the unique event, featuring talks and discussions by experts from the ITTF and ETTU, ranging the new ITTF Strategic, future of the ITTF World Table Tennis Championships, fan engagement, professionalizing National Associations and High Performance. A detailed program can be found here.
"I call upon all European table tennis associations to be represented! This is a unique initiative to discuss the effects for Europe of the changing World Championship and many other matters and actual subjects. It provides opportunities to meet and speak in a less formal setting than at an ITTF AGM or ETTU's Ordinary Congress, which will take place in Alicante in less than two months after the Forum. A perfect moment to exchange views on the developments and challenges for Europe," said President KRAMER.
The Forum that will be driven by the visionary slogan Table Tennis. For All. For Life. will be a unique event consisting of three sessions of talks and discussions presented by experts from the ITTF and ETTU. Amongst others, topics include an overview of the new strategic plan and vision of the future of the WTTC, support for National Associations in both professionalism of the sport and fan engagement, and popularisation of Table Tennis among the younger generation.
ITTF President Thomas Weikert and ETTU President Ronald KRAMER both hope that you will be able to attend the Europe Table Tennis Forum. Online entries will be accepted before Monday 2nd July 2018.
Among the speakers will be ITTF CEO Steve DAINTON, newly promoted ITTF Marketing Director Matt POUND, ITTF European Marketing Manager Jonny Cowan.
The ITTF will provide financial support for one delegate per National Association attending the event. This will include hospitality at the Hotel Platinia, where the forum will be held, and a subsidy towards transport costs.
