China Open: Silver for Ovidiu IONESCU and Alvaro ROBLES

Seamaster 2018 ITTF World Tour Platinum, Kaisa China Open
Romania`s Ovidiu IONESCU and Spain`s Alvaro ROBLES won Men`s Doubles silver medal at the Seamaster 2018 ITTF World Tour Platinum, Kaisa China Open. They lost to No. 1 seed, host nation`s pair FAN Zhendong and LIN Gaoyuan in the final clash 3:0 (11:9, 11:4, 11:4). IONESCU and ROBLES have managed to upset former World champions MA Long and XU Xin in the penultimate stage, held two days ago.
The best women`s doubles are composed by China`s players, DING Ning and ZHU Yuling, as well as the winning mixed pair, LIN Gaoyuan and CHEN Xingtong.
Host nation secured all five gold medals, knowing that two singles` finals gather four Chinese players in total: DING Ning vs. WANG Manyu in the Women`s Singles event; FAN Zhendong vs. MA Long in the Men`s Singles.
