ETTU high representatives met Dragutin SURBEK

Inspection visit to Zagreb for the forthcoming European Youth Championships

 

ETTU Deputy President Ivo-Goran MUNIVRANA and Secretary General Richard SCRUTON were pleased to meet one of the greatest European table tennis players, twice World Doubles champion (1979,1983), three times World Singles bronze medallist (1971,1973,1981) and European Singles champion (1968) Dragutin SURBEK during their inspection visit to Zagreb for the forthcoming European Youth Championships.

Mr MUNIVRANA, Mr SCRUTON and Mr SURBEK joined Croatian Association President Zlatko POSPIS at a reception at City Hall with City of Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic.

Arrangements are well advanced and on schedule for the Championships (8th-17th July 2016) at the Dom Sportova, a venue which has staged both the 2002 European and 2007 World Championships.
