ECLW: Linz AG Froschberg reaches semis with one single point difference – 347:346!

One of the most thrilling matches in the ECLW history was held in France, between Metz and Linz, and after both legs final score is 3:2/2:3 (19:19, 347:346) in favor of Austrian club

One week ago French side won 3:2, but double ECLW champion responded in same style with another superb play of LIU Jia who collected four points in both legs. Tonight Iveta VACENOVSKA added one more victory, in the ultimate chapter against Carole GRUNDISCH, to secure next stage for her team.
KTS Spar Zamek Tarnobrzeg passed over ECLW winner Fenerbahce to the next round. Turkish club won 3:2 tonight, but Polish champion was better in Istanbul (3:1). The clash was decided after third encounter, when LI Qian overcame Suthasini SAWETTABUT in straight games.
UCAM Cartagena is going to play in its first ever semi-final, as it beat Saint Quentin 3:0. SHEN Yanfei, WANG Zhipei and Ruta PASKAUSKIENE confirmed their good result from the first leg when Spanish team won 3:2.
