Berlin confirms supremacy of visitors

The latest ECLW quarter-final leg no. 1 game: SVNO STROCK – Berlin Eastside 1:3

 

Actual ECLW top seed and double champion TTC Berlin Eastside confirmed supremacy of the visitors in the 2015/16 ECLW quarter-finals leg no.1, as it beat SVNO STROCK 3:1. Previously, Metz TT, UCAM Cartagena and Zamek Tarnobrzeg won their matches away.

 

Berlin was clear favorite against STROCK in the reprise of the 2012 ECLW final. After first two matches, both in straight games, the score was leveled. SHAN Xiaona easily beat Tetyana BILENKO, but Matilda EKHOLM responded in same way against Petrissa SOLJA.

 

The 17 year-old Marie MIGOT had her ECLW debut against Georgina POTA and managed to take one set. Finally, SOLJA secured a big advantage for the German champion. Rematch will be held on January 26th in Berlin (18:00 CET).

 

As soon as the 1st leg was finished nice picture was seen: both teams went together to celebrate SHAN Xiaona`s birthday.
