MIGOT inflicted pain on the host nation’s supporters

Adina DIACONU suffered against French player and Germany’s WAN Yuan

European Champion Adina DIACONU was the major casualty in the second round of the Junior Girls Event at the 2015 ROMSTAL European Top 10 in Buzau. Top seeded in Romania, Adina, suffered by the hands of Marie MIGOT of France and WAN Yuan of Germany.

MIGOT who had spent one year in the training camp in Japan, before she moved to Austria’s Werner SCHLAGER Academy proved she is mature for big success.

“Adina is worthy adversary. I have to admit I studied her matches a lot before I came here. She already established herself as a big name and I wanted to prove I can play against her, but even I am surprised by the outcome of our today’s game,” admitted MIGOT.

MIGOT beat DIACONU 4:0.

“It is far from the easy game as it might look when you see the result. In second game I was 0:4 down, in third 7:10 and in fourth 5:9…It was crucial to won the fourth game. Adina is a great fighter, I could not let her comeback to the match,” said MIGNO.

French girl lost her opening duel against Natalia BAJOR of Poland, whilst Adina beat Lisa LUNG of Belgium. Lisa managed to stretched bot her adversaries in the opening rounds to full distance. She lost by narrow margin against Alina NIKITCHANKA of Belarus in the second round as well.
