The Round 6 of 2015/16 ECLW should confirm why the ongoing season is considered as the best one in the history of this prestigious competition. The following four matches will be held on December 18th: Bursa – Saint-Quentin, Szekszard – Cartagena, Metz – Postas, Linz – Lille.

In the Group A, ECLW top seed and two times champion Berlin goes to the quarter-finals from the first place, whilst Bursa and Saint-Quentin will fight for the second place. French side won first game 3:2 (11:8), hence Turkish team needs 3:1 victory at least or 3:2 with better set-ratio.

Group B provides exciting ending, bearing in mind that after all nuances could be decisive. The 2012 ECLW runner-up finished group stage with 2-2 score (8:8). Metz booked first place in the Group C, the reigning champion Fenerbahce also goes to quarter-finals from the no. 2 spot, while Postas is going to play in the ETTU Cup.

The ultimate showdown in the Group D promises thrilling event at Sportpark Lissfeld, Linz. Double ECLW winner, Linz AG Froschberg hosts Lille Metropole (both teams stands at 1-2), as the winner will reach the next stage. Both sides prepares for the clash in a good shape: Linz beat its biggest rival in the Austrian League SVNO STROCK last weekend, having all six wins after Round 6 (Sofia POLCANOVA has 11-0 so far), whilst Lille Metropole shares top of French League with Metz (both 5-0 and will meet this Sunday).
