Czech and France booked quarterfinal places
Women's ETTU Cup
In the first two matches of the 4th Round of the Women's ETTU Cup SKST Mart Hodonin and ALCL TT Grand Quevilly booked their quarterfinal places.
In Czech Republic, SKST Mart Hodonin prevailed against Novi Sad from Serbia. In the opening duel, Europe's player no. 37 Renata STRBIKOVA against Viktoria TRUZINSKI, who is as the rest of the Serbian team players unlisted due the international inactivity, secured four games victory. She gave host club dream start before Europe's no. 68 Katerina PENKAVOVA beat Aneta MAKSUTI by same margin to widen the gap. However the victory did not came easy. MAKSUTI was 9:7 and 10:9 in the lead in the fourth game, before pendulum swung in favor of host nation representative. Zolfia FENJVESI brought back her team in game after victory over Lenka HARABASZOVA, but experienced Renata STRBIKOVA showed no mercy on her second return to the table. It was Aneta MAKSUTI to suffer against STRBIKOVA.
In France ALCL TT Grand Quevilly overcame Hungarian Budaorsi 2i Sport Club in straight matches.
