Big guns moved to ETTU Cup

Draw for the Men’s and Women’s ETTU Cup

 

The draw for the ETTU men’s and Women’s ETTU Cup was conducted today. From quarterfinal, the fourth round winners in ETTU Cup will face the clubs ranked on third position in their respective groups in Table Tennis Champions League Men and European Champions league Women, on their way to the penultimate stage.

 

In men’s ETTU Cup, French Stella Sport La Romagne will play against the Bundesliga winners in 2013SV Werder Bremen. DKV Borges Vall from Spain will have the hard task against Vaillante Sports Angers TT. Another French representative Istres TT will play against Sten Marketing HB Ostrov from Czech Republic. The only match without French club involved will be Halmstad BTK from Sweden vs. WEIN4TEL Niederösterreich from Austria. The Austrian club won the Champions League in 2008.

 

In women’s ETTU Cup, Hungarian Szekszard AC moved from Champions league to meet French ALCL TT Grand Quevilly in the quarterfinal. Spanish CTT Balaguer-Villart Logistic will meet Turkish Bursa Büyükşehir Belediyespor, CP Lyssois Lille Metropole from France will play against Russia’s Kazan and SKST Mart Hodonin will meet Postas Sport Egyesület of Hungary.
