ECLW Round 3: Two clashes between Hungarian and French clubs

Third round will be held this Friday (November 4th)

 

All four matches of the 2016/17 European Champions League Women will be held this Friday November 4th as two will confront Hungarian and French clubs: Postas Sport Egyesulet – TT SAINT QUENTIN in the Group A and ALCL TT Grand-Quevilly – SZEKSZARD AC in the Group C. Other two are TuS bad Driburg vs. LINZ AG FROSCHBERG in the Group B and SKST Stavoimpex Hodonin vs. METZ TT in the Group D.

 

Postas Sport Egyesulet and TT SAINT QUENTIN will play for their first victory in the ongoing season bearing in mind that both were beaten by reigning champion TTC BERLIN EASTSIDE in the previous rounds. Both clubs have medal winning players from the recent LIEBHERR 2016 ITTF European Championships Daniela DODEAN-MONTEIRO in the host team and Ruta PASKAUSKIENE on the oposite side.

 

Two times ECLW winner LINZ AG FROSCHBERG visits Germany`s team TuS bad Driburg in the Group B game. LIU Jia & Co. target their second consecutive win while ECLW newcomer plays for its very first victory.

 

ALCL TT Grand-Quevilly hosts SZEKSZARD AC as both sides are determined to improve their group stage record to 2-0. Both teams overcame BURSA BUYUKSEHIR BELEDIYESPOR in the first two rounds of Group C.

 

METZ TT aims second consecutive victory in the Group B after 3:1 win against actual ECLW runner-up and No. 2 seed KTS Siarka ZOT Tarnobrzeg. French side will be hosted by SKST Stavoimpex Hodonin which lost to Poland`s champion in the opening round.
