The name of the first finalist in Women’s ETTU Cup is KTS Spar Zamek Tarnobrzeg. In Poland host nation representative just justified their supremacy set two weeks earlier. Tagmet scored one point but that was all from the guests.

Valentina SABITOVA was the only player in Tagmet’s team strong enough to put adversary under pressure. In five thrilling games she beat Natalia PARTYKA. LI Qian prevailed against Anna BLAZHKO and SABITOVA whilst HAN Ying beat Olga BARANOVA. All duels concluded in straight games.
