Vaillante Angers recorded the victory in the second leg of the Men’s ETTU Cup semi final but Eslovs AL secured their passage to the ultimate stage. In Angers French club posted victory by narrow margin 3:2 insufficient for the overall win. Two weeks earlier Eslovs won 3:1. They will meet Olimpia Unia Grudziadz in the final. Polish club just confirmed the advantage they made two weeks ago.

In France it started good for the host. Jens LUNDQVIST beat Mattias OEVERSJÖ after fierce full five games battle. XU Hui in next duel against Jon PERSSON repeated the previous success but this time he needed one game more 3:1. Once again host nation player was stretched to full distance but Christophe LEGOUT managed to keep Vaillante Angersin in game. He overcame Robert SVENSSON.

The hope lasted until the penultimate duel. XU Hui once again was back bone of Eslovs’ success. He overcame Jens LUNDQVIST.

In Poland Olimpia Unia Grudziadz beat Stella Sport La Romagne. In the first leg in France hosts lost 1:3 so tonight there were very little hope for the French side. Frst two matches went full distance; Kaii YOSHIDA and WANG Yang were under severe pressure in matches against CHEN Tian Yuan and Brice OLLIVIER. However after 2:0 for hosts victory for Adbel Kader SALIFOU against Patryk ZATOWKA was nothing more than a consolation.
