In the semi final of the Men’s ETTU Cup scheduled on March Saarbrucken will meet Stella Sport La Romagne, whilst Liebherr Ochsenhausen will play against Walter Wels.

Stella Sport La Romagne secured the place in the semi final after they repeated the success against Sweden’s Eslov. In first leg it was 3:2 for French side, whilst at home soil they needed match less to made progress to next round.

CHEN Tianyuan was stretched to full distance against Mattias OEVERSJÖ, but he gave host club good starting position. Abdel Kader SALIFOU failed to preserve same rhythm. Robert SVENSSON leveled the match. Brice OLLIVIER overcame Kasper STERNBERG and CHEN Tianyuan proved too strong for Robert SVENSSON.

Liebherr Ochsenhausen beat Cajasur Priego SM in Biberach. Unlike the match in Priego de Cordoba which finished in straight games, German club needed four matches to conclude the meters at home. Liam PITCHFORD was the back bone of club’s success with two wins over WEI DONG Shi and Carlos MACHADO. MACHADO stretched player from England to full distance. Previously full distance thriller against RYU Seung Min, concluded in MACHADO’s favor. Kirill SKACHKOV overcame Alesandro CALVO.

Austria’s Walter Wels overcame TTC Zugbrucke Grenzau in Hohr-Granzhausen after five matches. They needed four last week in Austria. ZHAN Jian recorded two victories, over Tomas PAVELKA and Andrej GACINA, whilst Zolt PETE beat PAVELKA in decisive fifth match after five games.

In Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Dartom Bogoria Grodzisk Mazowiecki needed full five matches to beat Saarbrucken and once again we saw the thrilling encounter in Germany Bastian STEGER and Bojan TOKIC beat Daniel GORAK and Robert FLORAS, but OH Sang Eun was at the top of the game. He overcame Tiago APOLONIA and Bastian STEGER to give his club chance to play decisive match. In fifth match APOLONIA beat GORAK.
